Fasten the net directly to the scaffolding

There is also another way of mounting and it is to go directly with the mesh on the scaffolding, without any anchoring structure detached from it.

It is a simpler system but with poor aesthetic and practical results especially for wind resistance.

It is not possible to put the fabric under tension well, you can see the eyelets on the perimeter and every single eyelet is much more stressed.

But in some cases it is used for its practicality especially when a rapid end of the work is foreseen and there is no need to guarantee a long duration.

Below, on the smaller sheet, they used simple cable ties from electricians (which is absolutely not recommended!).

For assembly it is advisable to create a frame of pipes detached from the scaffolding of about 15 / 20cm, in this way the sheet will be detached from the scaffolding, the sides of the sheet will turn behind this frame, anchoring with some elastic hooks to the underlying scaffold.

In this way, the fabric will always be perfectly tense, because it will unload its weight uniformly on the tubes that frame it and the elastic hooks will recover the thermal expansion of the fabric, with greater strength due to the fact that the eyelets are much less loaded.

The aesthetic effect is excellent, because you cannot see the eyelets that remain behind and the final result is a perfect "packing" of the scaffolding).

In this photo below you can see the structure of pipes detached from the scaffolding that frames the frame quite well on the bottom left.

We also see that at the point where a sheet ends there are two vertical tubes parallel to each other, the closer they are and the greater the continuity of the print.

The internal pole is that of the scaffolding. On the image below we have indicated two scaffolding poles, but often there is only one pole.

Instructions to attach the mesh to the scaffolding

The mesh used is a micro-perforated PVC consisting of a PVC-coated polyester net, with square holes that make it suitable for medium and high intensity air flows (Air permeability of 2052 mm / sec - ISO 9237-1995) fireproof certificate B1.

Printing is with UV ink, original Fuji or Durst, that guarantee excellent durability and excellent color rendering.

We recommend carrying out the work with mesh sheets that do not exceed 400mq each. This is to facilitate assembly, in this way each sheet does not exceed 120 kg. It is supplied folded like an "accordion", therefore usually placed on the left side. (looking at the facade) you bring the whole side up and anchored to the top corner you proceed to stretch it anchoring it as it unrolls.

Below is an example of the use of this material to temporarily cover a facade and not a scaffold.

A frame is made to which the mesh is anchored.

This is an example of a "simple" frame where the fabric is positioned inside and secured with elastic hooks that remain visible.

A double structure can also be foreseen, therefore with pipes behind to be used for anchoring, as in the system recommended for scaffolding.
